Born one beautiful winter morning on the bank of Lagoon Ebrie in Abidjan, the capital of Cote d’Ivoire, Awa Bakayoko (Awa Melone) fell in love with music at a very young age. Her love for music was inspired by a lullaby her mother used to sing to her when she was a baby. Her lessons in elementary school were transformed into magnificent, magical, melodic songs. more >
